“Johnny/Razor Blade” was born in Kingston, Jamaica to Henry Walker and Mae Espeut on September 10, 1941.
John married Bessie Silvera on November 30, 1963, in Kingston, Jamaica. While in Jamaica, Johnny and his father were co-owners and operators of the construction company HG Walker and Son. When he and his family relocated to South Florida, he established and operated John A Walker and Sons until he retired in 2013.
Johnny is survived by his wife Bessie, his children Tanya (Chris), Debra (Stephen), Gary (Lisa), Darren (Nikki), and Christopher Scott. His grandchildren, Stephen John, Kyle, Brandon, Jessica, Ashley, Jake, Chad, and Drew. In addition to his grandchildren, he had a special relationship with his grandnephew Sabato and grandnieces Alyssa, and Stella Rose. His sister, Marcia (Peter), and brother Christopher (Beverly), his sisters-in-law Barbara (decd. Ian) and Dawn (Michael) as well as nephews, nieces, cousins, and his dear aunt Khura.
His memorial service will take place on Saturday October 22, 2022, at 10am at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Davie, FL.
