Joseph P. Cammisa

Joseph P. Cammisa, age 82, died on April 29, 2021, in the presence of his family. Joseph is proceeded in Death by his parents and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, 3 happy children, 4 wonderful grandchildren, and 4 little angels who blessed him to be their great grandfather. Joseph's two other siblings are his beloved sisters, Angela and Rae. Joseph was born in 1938 in Brooklyn NY to his parents Pat and Louise. Joseph graduated from Miami Sr. High. “Papa Joe,” as he was lovingly called by his family, loved life, family, friends, and his beloved Char-Hut, which he started with his family over 45 years ago. Papa Joe was always a great husband and family man. He was a loving brother and a dedicated father to his children. Papa Joe and his wife Cathy were married for 63 wonderful years. They attributed their admitted reason of happiness and longevity to.. trust and understanding. Papa Joe loved life and was very active with his work, his family, his friends, and sports. He loved spending time with his sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Papa Joe will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, fun-loving trusted friend, who was always giving and sincerely made a place in his heart for everyone he knew. There will be a mass for anyone wishing to pay respects to “Papa Joe” on Monday May 10th at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Davie at 3:30 PM located at 1301 SW 136 Ave. Davie Fl. 33325.
