Joseph J. O'Sullivan, 68, of Hollywood passed away Jan. 25, 2015. He was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Patrick and Margaret O'Sullivan and has lived in south Florida since 1980. Joe worked as a Corrections Deputy then as a Courtroom Deputy, both with the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Helen; step-daughters, Sherry Devine of Graham, TX, and Leah Devine-Denis and husband, Warren of Hollywood, FL; sisters, Carol Davis of Ft. Myers, FL; Patricia Moriarity of Naples, FL; Maureen O'Sullivan of Willits, CA; and Kathleen Duggan and Mary St. Germaine, both of Worsester, MA; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anne Kickey.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. The Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at St. Maurice at Resurrection Catholic Church, 441 NE 2nd St. in Dania Beach.
