

Joe was born on December 10, 1938, in Marcus Hook, PA, to the late Anthony and Rose Shore. He attended St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, earning his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Pittsburg Dental School in 1963. After completing dental school, his wife, Patricia, and he moved to Hollywood, FL, where they raised their sons, Brad and Brian. Joe practiced dentistry for almost 50 years and is known best for being the “painless dentist.”
Joe and Patty enjoyed almost 60 years of marriage together. Joe was a devoted husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, and grandfather. He enjoyed being with his six grandchildren (Hailey, Bradley, Sarah, Michael, Ryan, and Sydney). He enjoyed walking at T.Y. park in Hollywood, Fl, skiing in Colorado, BBQing for his family and friends, caring for his Westies, maintaining his pool and garden, reading, and traveling.
Joe is survived by his wife (Patricia), sister and brother-in-law (Anna Marie and John Shetler of Plantation, FL), sons (Brad and Michele of New Orleans, La and Brian and Helene of San Diego, CA), his six grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law (Pamela and Brian Foremny of Hollywood, Fl and Timothy and Sandra Linnan of Tequesta, FL), as well as his nieces and nephews (Robin, Jonathan, Corinne, and Gregory) and grand-nieces and nephews (Sabine, Maaren, Ava, and Miles).
In lieu of a service and flowers, the family requests donations are made to Catholic Charities
