

SHIRLEY AND RUDOLPH TAYLOR. She attended Elementary School and Ideal
High School in Trinidad. In 1975 she travelled to New York and continued her High
School education at Wingate HS. She attended and received a Bachelor Degree
at Baruch College.
Julia worked for the New York City Dept. of Homeless Services until 2001. She
was a victim of The World Trade Center Attack in 2001. She became ill and
moved to Florida. She later worked for The Florida Department of Corrections
from 2009. She experienced several medical obstacles during her employment
and became disabled. She was diagnosed with STAGE III BREAST CANCER
in 2015. She won the battle and later was proud to say, "I am a BREAST CANCER
SURVIVOR."
In 2019 she faced another challenge, when she was diagnosed with AML -ACCUTE
MYELOID LEUKEMIA. She needed and received a BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT.
Julia remained very strong in her faith during her struggles. She put up a great fight
against Cancer, until she lost the battle on June 17th 2023 when she was called home.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Nicholas, two sons Isim Taylor and Darryl Campbell.

Three sisters Anita Martin, Patricia Thomas, Susan Spence. Brothers Leo Taylor Russell Taylor

Andy, Ancil, Alicia, Derrick, Akimah, Nathaniel, Kevin, David, Careem, Krystal, Geralyn
Nakeitha, Cousins - Glenda, Pamela, Uncle Rudy, Aunty Marilyn, Aunty Malina
Special friends Cynthia, Donovan, Adelpha (SCOBIE) Victor, Darryl Campbell Sr. and a host of great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.070319
