Julian was an aircraft mechanic for some major airlines; he worked as a supervisor and lead mechanic. He passed his mechanical skill onto his children. He was a very knowledgeable automobile mechanic as well.
He was a great handyman around the house. He was an outstanding husband, Father, and grandfather. He truly enjoyed his sports, he used to play baseball and he would coach his children when they were younger. However: his favorite pastime was shooting pool while listening to his music or you could find him watching westerns and the early days of African American comedy.
Julian leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Dahlia Lambert, his eight children Steven Lambert, Keven Lambert (wife) Towana, Yvette Christian (husband Chris), Yvonne Harris, Tanya Lambert-Burges (husband Louis), Julia Jackson, Karen Hibbert, and Constance Moody. A host of grand and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by Constance Lambert, Carmen Lambert and his siblings Cleomia West and Stanley Lambert.
