

Ken was born in Rome, New York on 10-02–1941, but lived in Florida for most of hislife. After attending Coral Gables HS, he immediately enlisted in the United StatesMarines Corps. He served for 4 years as an Amtrak driver and was honorablydischarged as a Lance Corporal in 1961. He then began his career as a police officerwith several departments: Virginia Beach, VA; Coral Gables PD; Florida Highway Patrol;and Cooper City PD (BSO). He retired at age 67.
Ken was a wonderful man. He was a hardworking, kind, family man. He was a husband,dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. He lovedanimals (especially cats and squirrels). He loved his date nights with Barbara, and theywere fondly referred to as “Barbie and Ken.” He also enjoyed listening to up-and-comingmusic talent.
In his 80 years he lived a full life enjoying travel with his daughters. He bought a Harley,which became his newfound livelihood…going on many rides across country with Nikiand the Kyle Petty Charity Rides. His Harley also knew the way to and from Joie’s…anice 140-mile ride round trip.
He had quite a large family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara; they hadthree beautiful daughters: Joelle Bolline (husband Daniel), Nicole Lamar (husbandBurney), and Kristen (1978-1995). Eight grandchildren: Blake (husband MikeStepnowski), Hunter and Jake Martinez, Dalton, Erin, and Dylan Bolline, Ciel and RexLamar; and three great-grandchildren: Emmett, Lydia, and Evelyn Stepnowski. Hissister Tari (husband Ray Fasulo); nieces: Kim Boswell, Karen Conjura, Karole Pearce,and nephew Edmund Conjura.————“How sad we are now, but how lucky we were. And how fortunate we are still to have allthe stories, experiences, and memories we shared. Let us find peace in the past tocarry our hearts forward.”
