Born into the Bell family in Plantation, Florida on November 14, 1982, as the beloved third child, Kevin Dwight Bell enjoyed a joyful and blessed childhood with friends and family. Friday evenings and weekends were often spent on a soccer or football field, basketball court, or at a family or friend’s house playing video games, Monopoly, Pictionary, or Kalooki. School holidays and summers were spent at Disney World, the beach, or on trips to visit family throughout the world, including England, Jamaica, Canada and various cities throughout the United States.
With the love and support of his immediate family and those he was “adopted” by, including the Warren, Lyewlutatsing, Crawford, Froome, Carter, Lopez, Colin, Davis, Steibel, McKenzie, Constantine, and Lee families, Kevin grew to become an amazing man who walked with God. Kind-hearted, fun, practical, loving, funny, witty, smart, trustworthy, warm, impactful and loyal, he was also known for his great passion for Arsenal Football Club, former Florida State University quarterback, Charlie Ward, and Former National Basketball Association player, Nick “the Quick” Van Exel. Admired for his intelligence, cultural knowledge and computer savviness, Kevin could always be relied on to be our resident “MacGyver”, movie connoisseur, and music guru.
Although he is no longer with us, we thank God for the time with and the powerful impact that Kevin had on so many lives. His life was not cut short, nor did it end too soon — his Godly assignment was completed so he went home to rest. Kevin is survived by his parents, Barington and Beverly Bell, his siblings, Kurt and Michelle Bell, his nephews, Maxwell and Jackson Bell and other family and friends.
