

Leonardo A. Rodelo, 76, of Sunrise, Florida, passed away on August 15, 2026, in Hollywood, Florida. He was born on November 6, 1949, in Cartagena, Colombia, to Quintiliano and Emilia Rodelo.
Leonardo married the love of his life, Gladys J. Lopez Rubiano, on May 12, 1973, at Saint Malachy Catholic Church. A devoted Roman Catholic, Leonardo lived a life centered around his faith, family, and community. He graduated from the Art Institute of Tampa and proudly owned his own business, working as a sign maker for more than 45 years.
Leonardo will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gladys J. Rodelo; his sons, Leonardo Rodelo and Danny Rodelo; his daughter-in-law, Celines Rodelo; Virginia Matos, Eva Maria Carmona, Luis Miguel Rodelo, Quintiliano Rodelo, and Ruth Lopez; and his grandchildren, Juan E. Rodelo, Victor L. Rodelo, Stephanie C. Rodelo, Hailey B. Rodelo, and Alyssa J. Rodelo. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
Leonardo was preceded in death by his parents, Quintiliano and Emilia Rodelo, as well as Jamie Rodelo and Victor Rodelo.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024. Arrangements are entrusted to Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.
