Lilli Vella

On Friday, May 28, 2021, Lilli C. Vella, loving daughter, sister, and aunt passed away at the age of 48 and was surrounded by her loved ones.Lilli was born in North Miami on November 9, 1972, to Calogero and Sofia Vella and currently resided in Davie, FL.Lilli worked for Broward County Schools for close to 30 years where she met several long-time friends at South Broward, Coconut Creek, McArthur High Schools, and most recently at Apollo Middle School.Lilli was an avid sports fan that enjoyed attending football games, NASCAR races, and Winter Guard events to support her nephew, niece, and local sports teams. She enjoyed vacationing on the beach and drinking around the world in EPCOT. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family whether it was special occasions, holidays, or dinners.Her parents Calogero and Sofia whom she loved and missed very much preceded her in death.She is survived by her loving sisters Maria Vella and Giuseppina “Jo” Mervos (Dave), nephew and niece Daniel & Maria Mervos. Her aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends will also forever remember Lilli.The viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd at Fred Hunters, in Davie, FL from 4-8 and live-streamed for those who cannot attend.
