On November 14, 2016 Louis Manuel Gonzalez passed away. He was born in New York City on July 3, 1937 and was the son of Manuel Migdonio Gonzalez and Maria Elisa Cancel Pagan. As a young boy he moved to Miami where he grew up in an apartment above Fire Station 1 on Flagler Street. He then went on to graduate from Miami High School in 1956. In time he grew to become a very prominent architect and was involved in the early construction and development of downtown Miami. He soon became husband to his first wife Terry and a father to his three children Edward, David and Terri Jo. Later in time his family grew to include his second wife Joyce Minnich and his nine grandchildren. Throughout his life he was very dedicated to all his family. Louis loved to spend time traveling the world with his wife Joyce, shooting targets at the gun range with his buddies, and driving his vintage Porsche's to club rallies. He was a quiet wise man who always extended a hand to his friends and family. Louis will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
