January 30, 1966 – August 22, 2025
Louis Tieso, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully in Tamarac, Florida, surrounded by the love that defined his life. Born on January 30, 1966, in the Bronx, New York, Louis lived a life full of laughter, love, loyalty, and strength.
For 32 beautiful years, Louis shared an unbreakable bond with the love of his life, his wife Norma Tieso. Their devotion to one another was evident in every moment they shared. Inseparable in life, their love was a shining example to all who knew them.
Louis is predeceased by his father, but his memory continues in the hearts of his cherished wife Norma, his loving mother Graciela Tieso, his sister Grace Tieso, his devoted children Louis Tieso Jr. and Brittny Rodriguez with her husband Jonathan Rodriguez, and his treasured grandchildren Leila, Jackee, and Mateo. He is also survived by his nephews, Jeremy Bonilla and Chris Musslewhite, and his niece, Karissa Bonilla-Alvarez, along with countless close friends who were more like family.
A proud Bronx native, Louis was a lifelong and die-hard New York Yankees fan. He rarely missed a game, and there was no game too small and no victory too quiet for his celebration. His passion for the Yankees was matched only by his love for Halloween — a holiday he embraced with enthusiasm and a playful spirit. Louis was passionate about fitness and could often be found at the gym, riding his Harley with the wind at his back, or casting a line with his fishing rod in hand. He loved the Florida Keys and treasured trips back to New York.
Louis had an infectious smile that could light up a room and a warm heart that touched everyone he met. He had a special gift for making people feel seen, heard, and loved. He built countless traditions with his family, especially those at Christmas and Thanksgiving, each one a testament to his deep love and the joy he found in bringing people together.
Louis leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, laughter, and unwavering love. He will be deeply missed, but his remarkable spirit will live on in the traditions he created, the memories he gave, and the hearts of all who were so very lucky to know him.
Rest easy, Louis. Your ride was absolutely unforgettable.
In his honor, the family encourages everyone to wear Yankees gear — one of the things that made Louis smile the brightest.
