

Louise was born in Ameagle, WV to Robert Woodrow Toney and Logana Clay Toney on November 13, 1935. She went to school at Colcord High School in Ameagle, WV. She married Hersie Osborne on December 21st, 1952. She worked in a number of corporate jobs, until she found her calling as a model, and shortly after, an entrepreneur in modeling, owning her own modeling agency in CT. She then became a consumer trade show executive for the Home Builders Association of Hartford County, selling and running their annual Spring Home Show. She then started her own consumer trade show production company, Osborne/Jenks Productions, Inc. with partner, Dennis Jenks. They produced over 30 shows annually in the next 30 years, until she retired in 2007.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Finch, her ex-husband, Joe Osborne, her parents, Pete and Logana Toney, her older brother Bob Toney, her SIL Shirley Toney, her sister Yvonne and BIL Jerry Kohli and her granddaughter Nichole Osborne, and many friends over the last years. She had countless dogs and cats, who no doubt, gave her a warm and loving greeting upon her arrival at the Rainbow Bridge.
Louise is survived by her brother, Jack Toney, 85, of Coral Springs, FL, her son Joe Osborne and wife Shelley Osborne of Houston, TX, her daughter Susan Osborne and husband Tim Reed of Coral Springs, FL, her grandson Robert Joseph “RJ” Osborne and wife Katie Osborne of Houston, TX, and great grandchildren Oakley, Cannon, Aden and Nathan.
Louise was active in the theater since their move to Charleston, WV and continued to pursue her theatrical aspirations in local and regional theater groups in WV, TN and the Triangle Theater in Farmington, CT until 1977. Louise enjoyed an active and colorful social life, making friends wherever she went. She was loved for her wit, beauty, vibrance, and intuitive intelligence. She often dominated the room with her beauty and warm friendliness.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held May 24, 2024 at 1PM at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL. Light refreshments will be served, with dinner to follow for those who wish to attend.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Alice Bent and Jacquie Robinson of SafePals Home Care in CT, all the ladies of Visiting Angels in FL and the nurses of Trustbridge Hospice Services in FL for helping to keep Louise comfortable to the very end.
