

It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved son,brother, family member, and friend, Luke. Luke Robert Caliento, 18, ofDavie, FL, ascended to our Lord on April 14, 2023. Luke attended St.David’s Catholic School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School. At the timeof his passing, Luke was attending Broward College in Davie to pursue adegree in Accounting. Luke was an aspiring CPA.Luke loved spending time with his dog, Tucker, doing gymnastics on histrampolines, watching movies, listening to music, and gaming on his Xboxwith his friends. He had a passion for many collectibles with an extensivearray of numerous unique items. He loved the outdoors, and some of hisfavorite pastimes were making bonfires, four-wheeling, and riding aroundthe neighborhood on the gator and golf cart with his best buds, Cole andWade. He recently discovered he had a green thumb so his latest hobbywas planting and caring for his cacti. Luke also played competitive soccerfor many years. Another one of Luke’s strong interests from a very youngage has been analyzing and investing in the stock market, which he didvery well. Luke had a distinctive style and a true appreciation for good food,always enjoying the best with one of his favorites being lobster mac ncheese.Luke had a caring spirit and a generous heart that could be felt by anyonewho knew him. He was shy but always so friendly to everyone. He alwayssaw the good in people. It was important to Luke for others around him tobe happy, always there for others with his comforting phrase “ I got you.”Anyone who has encountered Luke can attest to him being a polite, kind,likable, and well-mannered young man with a heart of gold. His professorsfrom Broward College describe him as a committed, smart, and inquisitivestudent. In the first accounting class of his college career, Accounting I, inthe Fall of 2022, Luke completed the class with the highest letter grade. He
earned straight A’s and was also invited to join the Honor Society atBroward College in early March of 2023.Luke will forever be remembered as the selfless, compassionate,generous, handsome, giving, and respectful young man he truly was. Nowords will ever be able to express how missed Luke is and will always be.Luke’s family and friends thank him for giving us the best 18, almost 19,years of our lives that we will forever cherish.Luke, you are forever in our hearts. Thank you for all the days that youmade brighter.
