Born May 11, 1931 and joining her heavenly family on April 26, 2018. She leaves behind the love of her life and partner of 59 years, her beloved Arthur; her 6 children; Gerard, Denise, Paul, Michele, Victor and Bernadette; son-in-law, Albert, and daughters-in-law, Dianne, Julianna, and Kim; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
Madeleine, the fourth child to five children, born to Joseph and Bernadette Morin, grew up on a small farm in Brunswick, Maine. As a young woman she started working for Grant's Department Store. After working for some time, Madeleine was promoted as the youngest store manager and merchandiser in the store's history. W.T. Grant himself recognized and honored her and her accomplishments.
Madeleine and Arthur were married on April 20, 1959 and moved to Walpole, Massachusetts where they started to raise their family. Madeleine was multi-talented in many ways and channeled those talents and ingenuity towards raising her family and making a house a warm home.
A beautiful voice, she was often heard singing while working around the house and often while sewing. She found pleasure, as did we, in her joyful song. A loving wife and mother, she truly loved her family and we will always foremost in her heart and actions. Thank Goodness for her great sense of humor, she needed it!
After 28 years in Massachusetts, Madeleine and Art moved to Florida where they resided until her passing. For many years they traveled, visiting family and friends in their camper, exploring all over the United States and Canada, most especially the National Parks.
Madeleine and Arthur shared a deep devotion in their Roman Catholic faith. Together they volunteered many hours of time and service, most recently here in Hollywood, FL with St. Vincent DePaul Society at Little Flower Catholic Church.
