Maria Leiceaga Perez

Maria Leiceaga Perez was born on November 22nd , 1928 in Santiago de Compostela to Ignacio Leiceaga Mouriño and Carmen Perez. She was the third of 9 siblings. Maria lived in Caracas, Venezuela from 1950 until 2006, when she moved to Miramar, Florida. She resided in Miramar, where he lived until her death.

Maria Graduated in Spain as an Scholl Teacher and lived in Santiago until she emigrated to Venezuela in 1960. In Caracas she worked as an administrative assistant until she married Emilio in 1964. She dedicated her life to the care of her family, her beloved son Emilio and later her grandchildren Myriam Andreina, Emilio, and Alejandro. She moved to the United States in 2005, where she spent the rest of her life with her family.

She is preceded in death by several loved ones including Antonio Leiceaga, Manolo Leiceaga, Ignacio Leiceaga, Carmen Leiceaga, Suso Leiceaga, Santiago Leiceaga, and Moncho Leiceaga.

She is survived by her son Emilio, her three grandchildren: Alejandro, Myriam Andreina, and Emilio, Myriam Teresa, and her sister Teresa Leiceaga. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home at 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, Florida 33024 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Services will be held the same day at 5:00 pm at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.
