Born in Port Salut, Haiti on December 13, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Nedlan Senat and Dieurene Pierre Senat. She was a devoted wife to Jacques Brunache for 47 years, building a life grounded in love, faith, and purpose. Together, they shared not only laughter and adventures but also a deep commitment to ministry and service. Marie Maude was a loving mother to Jacmodline, Samuel, Grace and Keren. She dedicated her life to nurturing, supporting, and encouraging her children to follow their dreams. Her unconditional love, wisdom, and prayers helped shape who they are today. She was a cherished grandmother to five grandchildren Samantha, Stephanie, Elnathan, Sam Jr.and Abigail who brought immense joy to her later years.
Marie Maude had a deep passion for helping others reach their potential. As both teacher and pastor, she dedicated her life to guiding people toward becoming their best selves, always ready to support anyone in need. Her unwavering love for God and His people was reflected in her 47 years of faithful service as one of the co-founders of Mission Eglise Evangelique La Foi Apostolique (MEELFA) alongside her husband. Together, they established seven churches, touching countless lives across communities. Their vision extended beyond Sunday services—they founded an elementary school in Les Cayes that provided quality education to generations of children, creating a lasting legacy of faith and learning. In the late 1980s, Marie Maude and her family migrated to the United States, where she continued to co-labor in ministry with her husband. She also worked in the hospitality and healthcare industries until her retirement in 2013. She was known for her kindness, generosity and sharp sense of humor.
