Marilyn Shirley Wenzel Ray of Hollywood, Florida was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Eric and Mazie Wenzel both predeceased.She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Ray and grandson Steven Vaughn Ray.
She is survived by her son James Ray of North Carolina, granddaughter Lana Ray of Paris, France and sister Gwendolyn Wenzel of Hawaii.Also she is predeceased by her sisters Marion, Constance and Arline of Wildwood-by-the- Sea, New Jersey: andNieces ConnieMay, Sharron, Debbie, Alana and Nephew Eric.
Marilyn retired from the Broward County School district and was active at the Hollywood Community Center. She taught Pinocle, Canasta, Crocheting, Knitting and volunteer for special children’s events. She was beloved, a friend to many and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the Broward Educational Foundation / Pupil Transportation Scholarship Fund.
