Mrs. Mary Christine Robertson

August 17, 1934 – January 2, 2026

Mary Christine Robertson, aged 91, of Double Springs, Alabama, passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 6:35 p.m. She left this world peacefully at Memorial Regional Hospital, surrounded by her devoted family. Her final moments reflected the same grace, determination, and wit that defined her life.

Born on August 17, 1934, in Double Springs, Alabama, to Henderson and Della (Jones) Williams, Chris was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Eugene Robertson, and her brothers, Jim and Marlin Williams, along with other treasured family members—no doubt welcoming them in heaven with a warm embrace and a playful joke.

Her memory is lovingly carried on by her daughters: Gwen Timmons of Hollywood, Anita Shrove of Pembroke Pines, and Gina (Bruce) Watson of Ocala; her ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a large, affectionate extended family.

A celebration of Chris’s life will take place at Fred Hunter’s in Hollywood on January 14th. The viewing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., followed by the service at noon and burial afterward. Pastor Johnie Butler of The Local Church will officiate, and Chris will be laid to rest at Fred Hunter’s Cemetery beside her beloved Eugene.

Chris’s simple pleasures included enjoying episodes of The Price is Right, playing the game Aggravation, and savoring chocolate. A woman of steadfast faith, she was a born-again believer in Jesus Christ and the guiding light that led her daughters to faith. Her family will long remember her legendary sense of humor and often remarked that she had nine lives.

Though her journey on earth has ended, Chris’s legacy of style, spirit, wit, and boundless love continues and lives on in all those she touched. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support, to Pastor Johnie for leading the service, and to Kenny, Debbie, Steve, and Sandy for their beautiful music. A Visitation will be held at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, located at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024, on January 14, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at the same venue from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be conducted at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens East, Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024, on January 14, 2026, from 1:15 pm to 1:45 pm.
