Mary Ann Smith, 75, of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on September 15, 2020. Mary Ann was a lifelong resident of Florida born in Cherry Lake, FL and a South Florida resident of 53 years. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Tericer Smith of Boynton Beach, FL; sons Walter Smith of West Palm Beach, FL; Jerome Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, FL & William Smith of Tamarac, FL. Grandchildren Carlton Jackson of USAF Academy, CO; Nikia Hankerson of W. Palm Beach, FL. Great grandson Carrington Jackson. Nieces & nephew James Locket; Gloria Brooks & Cindy Brooks all of Madison, FL. She is preceded in death by her son James Smith.
Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles. I’ve only gone to rest a while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am but as I used to be. I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand, in your hearts I’ve only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
