Merrill Stewart, 89, of Davie, Florida, passed away peacefully on May14th, 2022.
The funeral service will be held at Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery-North, cryptside, 3001 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
Merrill was born in Lake Wales, Florida on February 21, 1933. Merrill was married to Frances on August 31st, 1958. They were together for fifty-seven years prior to Frances’ passing in 2015.
Merrill worked as a grocery buyer for Publix Supermarkets for forty-seven years before retirement. He often shared many stories of his years working for Publix with amazing details.
Merrill will be missed by his family and friends, but comforted by the many memories made by this giving and loving man.
