He was born March 2, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY to the parents of Albert Edward, and Elizabeth Margaret "Kenney" Gurge. Michael is survived by, wife Dorothy Esther Gurge of Pembroke Pines FL., daughters, Jodi "Sam" Ianicci of Staten Island, NY., and Jennifer "John" Adams of Brooklyn, NY., mother Elizabeth Margaret Gurge, sister, Margaret "Jeffrey" Easbay of Staten Island, NY.,4 grandchildren, stepson Peter M. Gullo of Pembroke Pines, FL., step daughter, Kristin "Christian" Cruz of Hillsboro Beach, FL. 5 step grandchildren.
