

Nancy was born in Charlotte, NC on March 27, 1952. Her family moved to Key West, FL in 1962 where Nancy spent most of her childhood. She graduated from Key West High School in 1970 where she was a member of the high school band and a member of the Conchettes. Nancy then graduated from Florida Keys Community College and attended Florida State University.
On January 30, 1971, Nancy was crowned the 10th Old Island Days Queen. During her reign as Old Island Days Queen, she appeared in the Key West Citizen newspaper for the opening of Monroe County Fair, for official opening of the Astro City Playground, and she also promoted the Key West annual community clean-up campaign.
Nancy joined the United States Postal Service in 1985 and retired 30 years later. Prior to her postal career she taught classes at Sheridan Vocational School. She was loved by her students and customers.
On August 22, 1987, Nancy married Daniel Boyle in Pembroke Pines, FL. They have been happily married for the last 34 years, raising a daughter and son, and watching their grandchildren grow.
Nancy was dedicated to her family and proud to be a mother and grandmother. She had a passion for life and always stood up for what she believed in. She was fun-loving and enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. Nancy was an incredible person and one-of-a kind. She was loved by so many. She always knew how to brighten someone’s day and spread love to others, especially her grandchildren. Nancy will forever be remembered by those who love her.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Daniel Boyle, her children, Stacey A. Luke, and Roland J. Fontes, her 5 grandchildren, Olivia G. Luke, Ashlee J. Fontes, Tryston A. Fontes, Emma G. Luke, and Daniel J. Fontes, her sister Karen G. Young, her extended family, her NW 23rd St. family and her friends.
