Funeral services will be held on January 18, 2020 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
Nathaniel was born in Taylor, Pennsylvania on December 1, 1936. He attended Old Forge High School and then served in the United States Air Force from November 8th 1954 to November 7th 1958 during the Korean War.
Nathaniel was married to Patricia Gilday on May 25,1963. They were married for 57 years and had two boys William and Kevin.
Nathaniel worked as an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic for Pan American Airlines for 36 years and then General Electric for 10 years. Nathaniel served as Scoutmaster for Troop 176 in North Babylon, NY where under his leadership he saw 21 boys earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Nathaniel loved to laugh, play with his grandchildren and have fun with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that were close to him and loved him.
Nathaniel was also actively involved in Wounded Warriors and Cancer Relay for Life charities.
Nathaniel is survived by his wife Patricia, children William and Kevin, grandchildren Jessica, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Rowan, Joseph, Moira, and great granddaughter Avery.
