Born in Kingston, Jamaica on June 10, 1980, son of Earl Grant and Verlie Murray. Raised and educated in Kingston, Omar graduated from Jamaica College and Florida International University in Miami. At the time of his death he was a Political Analyst. In his pastime, Omar enjoyed playing and watching soccer games.
Survived by his son, Orion Grant, brothers Dale and Wayne, sisters, Kimberly and Shadian. Also leaves to mourn a host of cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and great friends.
Omar will never be forgotten as we shall speak of his name, love and kindness to our children, friends, and strangers and especially to Orion. Rest "O" only the Lord knows best.
Visitation on Friday, June 5th from 5:00 ~ 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters University Drive Memorial Home, 2401 South University Drive, Davie. Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 6 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Errol Hall officiating. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hollywood.
