I met your brother Marcos when he and Patrick were together. He loved him very much. Our hearts are broken, we all miss Patrick very much each and every day. Just fond out that Patrick passed away we our heart broken last time I saw him was at my brother Marcos's funeral he looked so handsome and was so comforting to my family to see him again, my brother Marcos loved Patrick as did our family my prayers go out to his family he was one of the sweetest friends anyone could have the pleasure of knowing and what a beautiful voice still remember the first time I heard him singing Elton John's song Norma Jean so sad he is gone we will miss and love you forever you were like family to us. It's a new year with reflection of the past. I think of my mother and Patrick everyday and how I lost both in 2013. I contrast my mother's long life with Patrick's short life and ponder and question so many things that have no answer. The challenge to reconcile confused and painful emotions can be daunting. Some things I simply must understand - I will never understand. That I suppose is the only acceptance.Miss you so much my friend. My thoughts and prayers especially for Jack and Pat's sisters and brother in this new year and the time ahead.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Patrick's passing. Patrick was a customer of my bar in New York and we became friends over the years. He was handsome, witty and a great guy to be around. We lost touch over the years but I will always cherish the times we spent together. My heart goes out to the family that I know he loved.

I haven't seen Patrick for a few years and when I heard he had passed I was so shocked and saddened. He was a thoughtful, kind, generous, caring man. I always enjoyed working with Patrick and will miss that beautiful smile. I am so very sorry for your loss. He will truly be missed.

This news shocked me then it broke my heart. I have known Patrick for over 20 years having worked with him at United. I remember first meeting him and thinking, "how handsome"' and "how nice" but it was not long before I discovered how wonderful. What a beautiful soul. My conversations with him were so enjoyable, always personal and leaving me feeling like I was with a good friend and family member. I too had the experience of hearing a young passenger who was disabiled tell me how kind he was towards her. Patrick was the best of us and will be very fondly remembered for a long time.

So difficult to accept the loss of my best friend. The news is shocking and profound! I am heartbroken but somehow resilient. This has been a difficult year loosing both my mother and Patrick.Patrick took me "under his wing" in 1991 when I was new to New York and I didn't know anybody. We became best friends very fast and buddy-bid our flight schedules. When we weren't flying together, we spent our days off having fun in one of the most exciting cities in the world. Patrick was one of the finest people you could ever know - his wonderful qualities were immeasurable. Aside from being a consummate professional flight attendant, always looking dapper in his uniform, he was a friend to everybody.He was instantly likable and always happy, positive, and full of good energy. He was patient, understanding, and so easy to talk to. Patrick enjoyed singing with his beautiful voice and was always available to lend an ear and share a heartfelt conversation. His integrity and good character was to be admired.I only saw Patrick once in the last six years since I left New York; however, we spoke on the phone all the time. Sometimes our calls would last a couple of hours. The distance never affected our bond and he remained my loyal friend. I was planning on finally getting some quality time to visit Patrick this coming year but that will not happen now. Instead, I will rely on the special memories of Patrick's presence and impact on my life, and that will never go away.A book could literally be written to express and recount the many wonderful memories I have of my friend. Patrick was truly "one of a kind." I will miss him immensely! During this holiday time, my Thanksgiving is for the blessings I do have and for the friend I was honored to share part of my life. I pray, not only for myself, but also for his dear sisters and brother. I love you for always my dear buddy!
