Paul Smith

Beloved husband of Zelma Smith for 65 years. Preceded in passing by his oldest daughter, Janet K Helferich. Survived by four (4) children, Paul Keith Smith (wife Rita), Burchell Smith (wife Cyndi), Timothy Smith (wife Kimberly) and Tanya Yarbrough (husband Jason). Paul had eight (8) grandchildren and three (3) great grand children.

Paul was 83 years old at his time of passing and son to Burchell and Maude Smith of Barboursville, Kentucky. (Knox County)

Paul was the 7th of 12 siblings. At the time of his passing he was a resident of Davie, Florida for the past 32 years. Paul was a member of Cooper City Church of God and enjoyed church very much.

Paul spent the majority of his life as a long distance and local truck driving professional for such companies as Roadway Express, Tupler Trucking and W Jackson and Sons. Paul started his life long career in trucking at the young age of 16 with his own father, Burchell Smith. Paul loved being a truck driver and was exceptional at handling 18 wheelers, dump trucks, etc.

Paul will always be remembered for his dedicated work ethic and funny sense of humor. He could always bring a smile to all he met as his humor was infectious. He will be missed dearly by his family and all that knew him.

Interment for Paul will be handled by Fred Hunters, Hollywood Florida located at 6301 Taft Street.
