Peggy was born in Salisbury, NC to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Chalmers Kluttz on September 16, 1929. She married Thomas Schenk on July 3, 1946, in North Carolina and relocated to South Florida in 1954. Peggy retired from the Broward County School Board after 20-plus years of service.
Peggy is preceded in death by her Husband Thomas Schenk and her daughter Carolyn (Schenk) Folger.
Peggy is survived by daughter Tony Bernad, Grandchildren Brian Bernard, Karen Folger Davis, Jennifer Folger Sanchez, and Rebecca Folger LeRoy, and 8 Great-Grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 29, 2023., Visitation from 12:30 PM to West. Located at 6301 Taft St. Hollywood, FL 33024.
