Randle Michael McDonnell, 66, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on May 2, 2024 at Holy Cross Hospital. Michael was born in Newark, New Jersey to Patricia and Randle McDonnell on May 8, 1957. He grew up in East Hanover, New Jersey and had been a long time Florida resident for over three decades. He is survived by his spouse, Thomas Liguori, as well as his mother, Patricia McDonnell, and his sister, Patricia Ann Boylan. Michael will be inurned within the Resurrection Garden of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Bluffton, South Carolina. Michael loved to travel; Spain was his favorite holiday destination. He had culinary superpowers! He worked as the chef on a yacht called The Gallant Lady, was the Culinary Arts Department Chair/Chef Instructor at Sheridan Technical College & Technical High School as well as a restaurant entrepreneur at his former dining establishments: Urban Kitchen and Victoria Park. He’ll be remembered for his witty sense of humor, love of show tunes, and the loyalty and affection he showed to all his loved ones, his family, and those within his wide inner circle. We all miss him so much.
