Rita was born in New York City on November 15th, 1947 and raised by the Lentini family. She graduated from St. Columba Christian Academy in Manhattan and studied for 2 years at NYU.
Rita was married to Mario on October 19th, 1969; they were married for 50 years.
Rita worked hard at many jobs throughout New York, New Jersey, and Florida, with most recent as an administrative coordinator for Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Florida, and enjoyed retirement thereafter. She liked TV sitcoms and dramas, movies, and reading fiction crime novels in her spare time.
Rita was predeceased by her parents, Eliot Morales and Ana Giacoppo.
Rita is survived by husband Mario; daughter Deanna Marie; daughter Julianne Marie and son-in-law Kevin J. Jackson; granddaughters Savanna Cristina and Olivia Love, and many other loving family and friends.
The funeral service will be held on July 25th, 2020 at 2:30pm at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL. Father Ed Prendergast of St. Bonaventure will be officiating. Online viewing will be available at this time for members unable to visit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
