Born in Plains Pennsylvania on March 7, 1929. He attended school at Girard College ( a school for fatherless boys ), in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. At school he excelled in athletics, earning more athletic letters than any other athlete in the schools 100 year history. Bob excelled in business, first with Armour Meats, where he honed his sales skills then Howard Johnson's Ice Cream business covering the South and Southeast. He then started two successful food brokerage companies, Rowe and Beaver Sales, then Bob Rowe Sales. He was endeared by his employees, suppliers, and customers alike. Bob is survived by his wife Elaine of 62 years, Daughter Susan Schultz (Steven), predeceased by his son Bobby, Grand Daughters, Allison Levy (Jeffrey), Jennifer, Brother William (Bill) Rowe (Jane), predeceased by Sister Betty Hall.
