

Roberto Vazquez Blanco, of Cooper City, Florida, passed away at his home on Monday, April 11, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous four year battle with cancer. He was 46 years of age.
Born in Sada, Coruna Spain on May 21, 1969, son of Nicolas and Antonia (Vazquez) Blanco. Raised and education in Spain, Roberto came to the United States at the age of 18 and furthered his education, in Buffalo, New York, graduating from Hilbert College.
From 1997 to 2011, Roberto held several positions with Ingram Micro Corporation and in 1999 relocated to South Florida, working with Avaya Corporations. Since 2011, he continued his dynamic 17 year sales career with Tech Data as Director of Sales for one of the world's largest IT channel sales and distribution in the Caribbean and Latin America Region. Due to his illness, he was forced to take a leave of absence in November of 2015.
Survived by his beloved wife, Erlys Barrante Blanco, three loving children, Gabriel Blanco, age 15, Daniel Blanco, age 13 and his youngest son, Sebastian, age 5. Also survived by his loving parents, Nicolas and Antonia Blanco, brother, Nicolas Blanco and sister, Monica Blanco, numerous aunts, uncles' cousins, friends and colleagues.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 23 from 2:00 ~ 4:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street Hollywood. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Roberto's Life will begin at 4:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
