Rosa Grassi, 90 years old, was born August 14, 1929, in Solofra, Italy. She was from Pembroke Pines, Florida, and passed away February 10th, 2020 in Morehead City, NC. Her parents were Emiddia and Antonio DeVita. She married Giuseppe Grassi March 23, 1949 in Solofria, Italy. Rosa was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her world. She loved having a big family, and her happiest moments were when everyone was together. Rosa raised a large family and worked in their pizzeria for years. All her foods were made fresh, from scratch, with love every day. She took alot of pride in her meals, her family, and her home.
Rosa Grassi was preceded in death by her husband Giuseppe Grassi and her siblings Carmelina, Lucia, Michele, and Geraldo. She is survived by her sons Michele Grassi of NJ, Antonio Grassi of NC, Frank Grassi and wife Jenny of NC, and Carlo Grassi of AZ. She is survived by her daughters Emiddia Feriozzi of FL, Rose Mennella of NC and Nicole Amaral and husband John of FL. She also had 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Fred Hunter Funeral Home 6301 Taft Street Hollywood Florida Viewing is at 11 a.m. Monday, February 17th. Services will begin at 12 p.m. Burial to follow.
