Roscoe Owens, 74 of Edgemere, Baltimore county, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, June 29th in Miami, Florida. Roscoe was born in Baltimore , Maryland, to Luther Owens Jr. and Cynthia C. Owens, on 4/22/1951. He attended Sparrows Point High School. Roscoe worked as a small business owner , running Serious Cookie Company.
Roscoe is preceded in death by his father Luther Owens Jr ,his sister, Cynthia Cole, brother Frank Sievers and brother Michael Owens.
Roscoe is survived by his mother, Cynthia Owens , sister Rose O’Neil ( Robert), brothers Luther ( Janet) and Doug (Maya), children Manasseh Appling-Israel, Vikki Anthony, (Andre Jr), Kelly Philips, Blake Whigham, and Renee Baylor- Gordon, and many Grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 1 pm to 3 pm, with service beginning at 3 pm on Saturday, July 19th at Fred Hunters Funeral Home, Hollywood Memorial Gardens, 6300 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024
