

Rosetta Elaine Johnson was born in Kingston Jamaica on December 30, 1939 to Rose Talbot and Samuel Williams. She attended St. Joseph Girls School in Kingston, Jamaica. As a young adult she worked at the Vaz Factory then moved to Freeport Bahamas where she continued to work hard to support her family. She spent eight (8) years in the Bahamas before she migrated to the United States in 1978. While in the United States she developed a passion for nursing. She worked for Epworth Village Nursing Home as a nurse for 30 years until she retired.
Rosetta was loved by many because she loved people. She was a woman of God and this was well known to all that knew her. She was kind hearted, loving, and an easy going person. Anyone with whom she came in contact had nothing but good words to say about her. She lived her life for her children and grandchildren. She loved each and everyone in a unique and special way.
Left to cherish her memories are: Two Sons: Eric (Nuts) and Robert. Six Daughters: Marcia (Cutie), Patricia, Sharon, Erica (Anna), Michelle, and Sonya. Three sons -in-law: Delroy, Jason, and Michael. One daughter-in-law Lakeisha. Three sisters: Beverly, Dawn and Yvonne. Three brothers: Norman, Patrick and Desmond (England). Fifteen Grand children: Jawara, Akeen , Omari, Shakera, Tashina, Shawn, Michael, Eric 3rd, Erica, Robert Jr, Kerryann, Tennille, Kahrim (Donmeche), Makeshia, Naqwan. Eleven great grandchildren. Eleven nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and close friends.
