Ross O. Wright, 92, of Hollywood, passed away on May 27, 2024 in Hollywood, FL.
Ross was born in Ojus to Olin and Irene on December 12, 1931. He went to school at South Broward High School. He married Laverne on May 7, 1955 in Hollywood, FL. From 1950 to 1954, he served in the Air Force during the Korean war. He worked at McArthur Dairy and the Department of Transportation from which he retired from both. He was involved in a bowling league that he enjoyed with his wife, Laverne.
Ross is preceded in death by, his son Rodney, brother Wayne and wife Laverne.
Ross is survived by his son Jeff, son Bruce, daughter-in-law Paola, grandchildren Rodney and Victoria Wright and “adopted” grand daughter Abby Losada.
Visitation will be 4:00pm-6:30pm, Thursday, May 30th at Fred Hunters, Hollywood, FL.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Friday, May 31st at Fred Hunters with Emily officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Fred Hunters Funeral Home.
