Roy Francis Adams, Sr., 70, of Davie, FL, passed away June 9, 2016, at his home. He was born August 12, 1945, in Hartford, CT, the son of Harry J. and Josephine L. (Abatte) Adams. Roy served in the U.S. Army. He was a long-time Florida resident, living in Okeechobee and in Davie. Roy was a member of the American Legion Post 321 in Cooper City.
Roy is survived by his wife of 23 years, Janice Marie "McGowan" Adams; step-children, Joyce Marble, Donna McDurfee, Robert Marson and Karen Woodgates; grandchildren, Joseph, Peter, Annalise and Jessie; great-grandson, Brayden and sister, Christina Calve.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Roy, Jr., and Russell; and brothers, Richard, Roger and Robert.
