

Roy was born to Catherine Nash Cirocco and Allen Julian Nash on May 7, 1959. He was unmarried. He went to school in Miami at Visitation Catholic School and Monsignor Edward Pace High School. He also attended the University of Florida. He worked as a sales & customer service specialist, most recently for Publix Supermarkets and previously in the office furniture industry.
Roy is preceded in death by his father Allen Julian Nash who passed away on December 24, 2010 and his beloved Golden Retriever Shasta who died in 1998.
Roy is survived by his mother Catherine Cirocco, his stepfather Tony Cirocco, his sisters Sherry Whallon (Paul Whallon) and Cathie Nash (Robert Barnard) and his brothers Glenn Nash and Todd Nash as well as two nieces and five nephews.
Roy was a lifelong sports enthusiast and a diehard Florida Gators fan. He was voted Most Athletic for his 1977 High School graduating class. He played both baseball and football at the high school and collegiate levels. Even though Roy did not have any children of his own, he loved children and had a positive influence on them throughout his life. Roy was loved by his coworkers and customers as he always had a smile and a joke to tell.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 14th at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home located at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024. A reception will follow the gathering. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.
