Samuel was born in Point Hill, St. Catherine, Jamaica on October 25, 1926.
He was married to Alice Sukie on July 30, 1961; they were married fifty-nine years.
Samuel worked as a cultivator, a haulage contractor and later on in retail for Rand R Hannah and Sons Limited, and Grace Kennedy and Company, while in Jamaica and later on at Winn Dixie, in Miami, Florida. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, sharing meaningful life stories that provided great insight of perseverance and commitment to overcome life's challenge. He was a dedicated provider for his family and those he encountered; he was strong-willed and determined. He was a man of his words, and a hero who has left a special and unique memory with each and every one of us. Those who knew him, know that his car or any motor vehicle he owned was of special interest to him and was definitely the best kept ride in town.
Samuel is survived by his wife, six children, two step children, one son in law, and daughter in laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
The family of Samuel Williams wishes to thank everyone for their acts of kindness, support, and love during this tough time. May we remember his life as the lessons he taught and the stories he would share, to remind us to always be our best version of excellence. May his soul rest in peace.
