Sebastiano was born in Canicattini Bagni, Sicily, Italy to Vincenzo and Sebastiana Salemi on January 10th, 1932.
In Italy, he was the transport manager for a chemical transport company. He arrived in the United States on November 7th, 1970. With his children, Sebastiano created the successful Vinnie's Tile and Marble in Hollywood, FL which was in business for over 25 years.
Sebastiano is preceded in death by his son Francesco Salemi. He is survived by his spouse, Nunzia, whom he married on April 6th 1956, his children Nella and her husband Corrado, Lucia and her husband Luigi, Enzo and his wife Maria, Marco and his wife Coco, his grandchildren Val, Nicco, Gabriella, Francesca, Salvatore, Giulia, Sebastiano and his wife Kat, Michael and his wife Lauren, Giuseppe and wife Zarah, Sebastiano and his wife Heidi, and great grandchildren Valentina, Enzo, Emilia, Lucca, Aiden, Sebastiano and Frankie.
The viewing will be held on Friday, October 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Fred Hunters Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL. Funeral services Saturday, October 5th at 10:30 AM at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL. Entombment processional to his final resting place will be at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Gardens West.
