Selena, known fondly as “Jello” to her family and friends, was born on September 5, 1956 in New Amsterdam, Guyana, to father Hushie Raufman and mother Eunice Bacchus. Selena is preceded in death by parents and her siblings Breeze, Nazi, and Shamena.
Selena lived a full life. She left Guyana to travel through western Africa, Holland, England, the Bahamas, and many other places until she finally settled in Miami. She brightened the lives of people all over the world.
Selena leaves behind her beloved children Sasha and Riley Fung, her husband Derek Fung, her siblings Fazo, Bebsy, Yasmin, Shamie, Pam, Sonsun, Teddy, Jean, Khyume, Mirza, and Ray, as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and uncles.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 1:30 Pm - 4:00 pm, Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
