Shirley S Ray

Shirley was born in Everett, Ma October 25th, 1930 the daughter of Max Zichek and Mary (Rufo) Shanniak.

Shirley is preceded in her death by the love of her life Joseph W. Ray and is survived by her beloved sons, Arthur Cote of Ft Lauderdale Fl, JW Ray and his spouse Kristen of Pilot Mountain, NC, her beloved daughters, Debra Cote Mendes of Boca Raton Fl, and Laura Cote of Davie, Florida. Her sisters Valerie Carfagna, and Nanci Archibald, and Rosalyn Rock (deceased) as well as a niece Candace Tempesta. Her legacy continues with her grandchildren, Richard Mendes and his wife Molly, Kristen Mendes, Adam Mendes and his wife Corrie, as well as Joseph (Joey) Ray and Logan Ray and her great grand children Juliet and Alexandra Harrington, Emmerson, as well as Erick and Natalie Mendes.

Shirley with her 9th grade education worked her entire adult life mostly as an entrepreneur. She found a way to always provide for her family. The most important thing Shirley provided was her unconditional love for her spouse, children, grand children and great grandchildren. Each of us gave a condition or two for her love to diminish, it strengthened. Her proudest achievement was her family. She taught us all what love is, what it should be, and how unselfishly a parent should devote themselves to their children and family. Her unconditional and immense love for her family will radiate with her family for generations as we each cast a small beam of that bright love light on every one in our lives. We love you Ma and thank you for the most cherished gift a person can give. Love always, your family.
