Steve was a gentle soul. He is one of my fond childhood memories.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy, and the kind acts of friends and strangers, give you the comfort needed to endure the days ahead. May you find comfort from the bible. In particular the scripture found at Revelation 21:4 which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

My friend...my Brother in Arms!I meet Steve in July of 1967 at Parris Island South Carolina: USMC Boot Camp. We became best friends and served together in Vietnam.I could not have asked for a better friend and Brother in Arms.He later visited me for weeks at a time as we shared hippy day in the NYC area.As the song says; I always thought id see you again!l'll NEVER forget you my friend and brother!!!
