Teresa Chaca

Teresa was born on June 15, 1932 in Cuenca, Ecuador, daughter of Daniel and Maria Quintanilla.

Teresa was the matriarch of the Chaca family. We all were so blessed with her tremendous faith in God and the love she shared to all. Teresa was a very selfless and caring person always more concerned about the welfare of others than her own. She was most happy and fulfilled when she was caring for us, protecting us, and helping us overcoming our life's obstacles.

She is survived in death by her husband of 64 years, Carlos A. Chaca; beloved sons: Carlos H. Chaca, Humberto Chaca, Juan Jose Chaca; and daughters: Carmen Garcia, Rosa Gangi, Rosario Tavella, and Maria Chaca Fernandez; grandchildren: Priscilla Chaca, Frankie Garcia, Veronica Rumph, Katherine Chaca, William Nunez, Rita Gangi, Carmensita Chaca, Jonathan Chaca, Jennifer Chaca, Ryan Fernandez; great grandchildren: Donovyn Garcia, Jalen Rumph, Sienna Rumph, Josslynn Garcia, Kamryn Nunez, Kelis Nunez, Emily Archila, Riley Garcia.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home: 2401 S University Drive, Davie, FL 33324 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.

Mass will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10 am at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, 5601 Flamingo Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330.

Entombment services will follow mass at approximately 11:45am at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25 Street Doral, Florida, 33172.
