Farrell, Thomas James of Weston, FL, passed away on October 24th of Secondary Brain Cancer, he was surrounded by family, . He was born on August 7th, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA, where he resided until 1970. He moved with his family to Miramar, FL, resided in Davie, FL for 22 years, then completed his retirement in Weston. He was a World War II Combat Veteran on the Pacific Front, an active Parishioner and Usher at St. David''s Catholic Church in Davie, a Knight of the 4th Degree with The Knights of Columbus, active in VFW Post 9697 in Davie, active with the American Veterans, and was a Board of Director with the Food Fair/Pantry Pride/Forum Federal Credit Union for 3 decades. During his son''s youth he was also active with Miramar Junior Athletic Association and Miramar Optimist Khoury League Baseball. Married to Joan Hafner Farrell for 48 years, Thomas was predeceased by her in April, 2004. He will be dearly missed by his son Kevin Farrell and Daughter-in-Law Holly Dandeneau Farrell of Lake Worth, FL, daughter MaryEllen Closius of Weston, granddaughter Danielle Pekar of Weston, and twin grandchildren Colleen Closius and Robert Closius of Weston
