Victor L. Roberts, Jr., 75, of Southwest Ranches, FL, went home with the Lord on Sept. 10, 2016. He was born Nov. 24, 1940, in Miami, the son of Victor and Isabel (Markley) Roberts, and attended North Miami Sr. High School.
Victor was a member of Local 487, Operators and Engineers Union and of The Pentecostals of Cooper City.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanie; sons, Victor L. Roberts, III, Richard Earl Roberts (Lisa), Barney Linn Roberts (Shelly); daughter, Kimberly Ann French (Steve); grandchildren, Sarah, Deborah, Amanda, Robert, Dylan, Lindsey, Benjamin, Jessica and Meghan; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Caleb and Belen with one more expected in March; sister-in-law, Judy Estevez; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Victor was preceded in death by a sister, Genevieve Phillips.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home, 6301 Taft St. in Hollywood. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
