Yanique was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti on April 28, 1957, the daughter of Bertin and Marie (Berthold) Etienne. In 1980, she and her family moved from Haiti to settle in Miami and later in Miramar, Florida.
Mrs. Normil graduated from Miami Dade College Nursing School. Yanique worked as a Registered Nurse at Select Specialty Hospital and Sister Emmanuel Medical Center at Mercy Hospital.
Survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, Pierre P. Normil, two loving daughters, Samantha Charlemont and Janice Normil and grandson Ethan Charlemont, son-in-law, Risson Charlemont, her dear mother, Marie Etienne, two brothers, Ernest Degan Etienne, Fritz-Gerald Etienne and sister, Emmanuella Etienne.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14th at 10 A.M. at Fraternity Baptist Church, 13300 NE 7 Avenue, North Miami. Entombment will follow at Dade Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
