Lucia Lucy Macias Salinas

A beloved mother and wife, Lucy was an excellent cook and enjoyed baking cakes for her family and friends.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband of fifty seven years, Mr. Lionso Salinas, three children: Irene Salinas, Norma Olvera and Sammy Salinas, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Her services will be held as follows:

Visitation: Branam Funeral Home, 809 N. Krome Ave., Homestead, FL 33030, on Friday, August 2nd, 2013 from 6pm to 10pm. Burial: Palms Woodlawn Cemetery, 27100 Old Dixie Hwy., Naranja, FL 33032 on Saturday August 3rd, 2013 at 10am.

-If roses grow in Heaven

Lord pick a bunch for us,

Place them in our mother’s arms,

And tell them they’re from us.

-Tell her that we love her and miss her very much,

And when she turns to smile,

Let her know how many lives she’s touched,

-Because remembering her is easy,

We do it every day,

But there’s an ache inside our heart,

That will never go away.
