

Death is part of our universe, yet many people seem to ignore this fact. Death is not prejudice, but treats everyone fairly.Today it carries Mrs. Sylfanie Laurent Calixte tomorrow will inevitably be our turn.Sylfanie Lauret Calixte, was born in Font des Blanc, Haiti, on December 16, 1922. Few years later she moved to Lagonave, Haiti, with her father. In 1975 , she met her handsome belated husband Saint-Louis Calixte in Lagonave. God has blessed them with 11 children, in which 4 of them had passed away. In 1976, she decided to commit her life to Jesus-Christ as her Lord and Savior; her desire was to see God's purposes fulfilled. In 1995, she migrated from Haiti to Florida, to join her late husband, together brought the majority of the family members to the U.S. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Haitian Church of God since her arrival.She was a beautiful,caring,loving, generous, strong-willed and extremely hard working woman. She was a blessing in everyone's life, she touched many lives, as she shared our dreams, and enriched our souls. For there will be peace,forever and ever. Syfanie will be greatly missed by her family to cherish her memory: Eight children; Adrienne Calixte, Jocelyne Calixte, Sylta Calixte, Denise Calixte, Adrien Calixte, Anthony Calixte, Saintlouime Calixte, Louis Calixte. 28 grandchildren, 28 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
