

Don was a devout Christian, and he loved telling others about Jesus. Throughout his life, he enthusiastically shared the salvation message with as many people as he could, and he diligently studied and knew the Word of God.
He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1955.
Don earned two degrees from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, a Bachelor of Arts- Psychology in 1958, and a Bachelor of Science- Business Administration in 1960.
He graduated from the Realtors Institute in 1970.
Don was a highly respected real estate agent in Birmingham. He started the first private Real Estate School in Alabama. He personally taught over thirty thousand adults in statewide branches for fifty-one years.
He never met a stranger, and he was a wonderful conversationalist. He enjoyed some fun years of traveling with his wife Mary Lynne, and he loved playing Gospel music on the piano. He was also a talented Master Gardener.
Don was born on February 16, 1937. He was the son of the late Harold Williams and the late Grace Williams. Don was also preceded in death by his brother Ted Williams, as well as by his youngest son, David Lee Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Mary Lynne Williams, as well as by his sons Don Williams, Jr. and Denny(Julie) Williams, his daughter Jennie Lynne Vann, and stepdaughters Kim(Terry) Jones, Pam(John) Moxley, and Tammy Stout, and by his bonus son, Rick Stout. He is also blessed to be survived by
twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and one
great-great grandchild.
Don was buried in a private graveside service on February 2, 2026 with Mr. Ronny Perkins officiating.
